Squeezebox Server—now known as Logitech Media Server—is a free, open-source music streaming platform from Logitech that organizes, indexes, and streams your audio to Logitech Squeezebox players and compatible software clients. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and many NAS devices, making it easy to build anything from a single-room setup to a whole-home, multi-room system.

The server supports a wide range of formats (including MP3, AAC, FLAC, ALAC, and Ogg), offers gapless playback and ReplayGain, and can transcode on the fly to match player capabilities. You can stream from local libraries, internet radio, and selected online services, manage playlists and favorites, and keep multiple players perfectly in sync. Control is available through a fast, browser-based interface, mobile apps, or its documented APIs, and an active plugin ecosystem adds services and integrations. Originally released as SlimServer and later SqueezeCenter, it continues to be maintained by Logitech and the open-source community.

Squeezebox Server is developed by Logitech and is used by 1 user of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 7.4, 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7. The names of program executable files are squeezeboxcp.exe, SqueezeTray.exe.
